Music that stands the test of time, music that evokes feelings and taps into the human soul, which is the aim of all true music creators and artists.
With that mindset and sentiment, Reggae Vibes Music teamed up with associate producer Michael Davey, and Dameon Gayle of Warriors Musick Production to deliver a timeless compilation capturing the true essence of Reggae with “Reggae Vibes Riddim“. The riddim driven project incorporates the rich, authentic, live “drum and bass” sound fused with a beautiful melody.
From consciousness to social commentaries to love, Reggae Vibes Riddim encompasses all that reggae is with 15 memorable tracks. The Reggae Vibes Riddim journey started with an ode to mama from international reggae artist Sizzla. Associate producer, Michael Davey explained “When Sizzla was first introduced to the project he got very excited. As the beat kicked he shouted with enthusiasm ‘this is a mama riddim’ and immediately chanted the chorus ‘oh yes you are the greatest mama..’ then the electricity cut off, this happened about 3 times but we didn’t stop until the song was voiced“.
Speaking of the project Marlon Folkes stated “I am extremely proud of this project. The veteran Reggae ambassadors delivered strong musical messages and the younger emerging stars did a great job as well”, while Engineer Dameon Gayle added “Once I heard the bass line I knew the project was going to be a hit”
Already buzzing with fans, social media and worldwide music platforms, Reggae Vibes Riddim is now available in all major online stores such as iTunes, distributed by 21st Hapilos Digital.
