Balance is a topic many of us have conceptualised but not internalised perhaps.
Work is the foundation for our livelihood but what if it didn’t have to be such a struggle? What if we could do what we loved and make a living..? I find myself always saying to my loved ones, no matter which path we take there will be challenges but if we do what we love we are more likely to succeed as it is coming from our heart space and not the mind.
Many of us do things we don’t enjoy as a means to an end but lose sight of the journey itself. Working towards a future happiness or fulfilment is dangerous. As harsh as it may sound what if tomorrow never comes?
We are so busy planning for tomorrow we forget about today. This moment itself is a blessing that some have not woken up to experience. I’ve come to realise that the journey is the destination. There is no destination! When we reach that supposed point, it will be the start of a new journey and something new tostrive for.
Stop for a moment. Put the laptop, iPad or phone down. Look around. Soak it all in.
This is the youngest you’ll be from here, do something new today. Make someone smile. Spread some loveand kindness. If we woke up everyday with new eyes our whole world would be transformed. Let’s never lose our inner child, take that risk and it all will pay off!
Even if you just spend the first hour of your day doing what you love, you will feel the difference inside. Let’s focus less on exterior wealth and build an inner haven so it can reflect externally. As within, so without. As above, so below. Inner stillness is the key to creation. Let go of what no longer serves you so you can embody the purest form of love. What are you going to do today to get you close to your dreams?
